Our Science Olympiad Team competed in Regionals this past Saturday at MTSU against 13 other area high schools and had a very successful day. For those of you unfamiliar with Science Olympiad, it's 23 separate events competed over 6 time slots. We medaled in 18 of the 21 events we entered, which allowed our team to finish 2nd overall as runner-up to Central Magnet. This qualifies us for State Competition at UT-Knoxville in April along with Central, Smyrna, and Shelbyville. Everyone competed with 2 teams at the Regional event which makes our school's perfromance even more impressive. Here are a list of the individual accomplishments from Saturday:
