Timely attendance is a key component of our students' educational journey, contributing significantly to their success and academic growth.
Here's a quick overview of how we address unexcused tardies/early checkouts: The first two instances will be seen as opportunities for reminders (warnings issued). For the 3rd and 4th occurrences, we will assign Supervised Study sessions, aiming to reinforce the importance of punctuality. Beginning with the 5th instance, we will implement In School Suspension as a measure to encourage better time management. For additional occurrences, please refer to the Student Handbook.
We understand that life happens, and sometimes tardiness is unavoidable. To accommodate these situations, parents may submit up to 4 notes per semester (8 notes in total for the year) to excuse their child's tardies or early checkouts. For more comprehensive details on these policies and for infractions beyond the 5th occurrence, please refer to the student handbook. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ART DEPARTMENT The Stewarts Creek High School Visual Art Department is happy to share with you that 20 of our visual art students will have work on display at the Frist Art Museum in Nashville starting Saturday, March 16th.It will be shown with some other amazing artists from Rutherford County Schools until Sunday, March 31st .
