Choir Students Win Multiple Awards

Over the weekend, over 1,400 students from across Middle Tennessee auditioned for the Mid-State, All-State, and Rutherford County All-County Honor Choirs. 

 

By virtue of this competitive audition, a record-breaking number students from Stewarts Creek High School earned spots in these honor choirs; 15 All-State and All-State Alternates, 36 in Mid-State and Freshmen Honor Choir, and 46 in the Rutherford County All-County Honor Choirs.  

 

Students in the All-County Choirs will attend the All-County Performances on October 29-30, 2018.  Mid-State students will rehearse with the best students from across the region on November 12-13, 2018, and All-State students will join the finest singers from across the entire state at the State Music Educators Conference in April 2019 at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel.
