Welcome!
I am Sadie Land, BSN, RN.
I am originally from Nashville, TN but grew up in Rutherford County. I graduated from Cumberland University with my bachelor's degree in nursing in 2010. This is my 9th year as a school nurse with Rutherford County before becoming a school nurse I worked for Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.
I serve as the SCHS First Responders Team Leader and the SCHS Crisis Response Medical Team Leader. I am trained in STOP THE BLEED from Vanderbilt University Hospital, and serve as an American Heart Association CPR, AED and First Aid Instructor.
I am proud to announce SCHS has been a Project Adam Heart Safe School since 2018 by establishing an emergency response plan with our staff and students that includes CPR and AED training with EMS activation for sudden cardiac arrest on our school's campus.
