Welcome to Spanish class with Mrs. Torres!

 

As a Smyrna native, I am happy to be at the Creek in my hometown. I earned my undergraduate degree in Spanish at UT Knoxville (Go Vols!) and had the opportunity to study abroad in Puebla, Mexico during that time. I later decided I wanted to teach, and went back to school to earn a Masters in Teaching Foreign Language at MTSU. I still love to travel, and love sharing my joy of language learning and Spanish-speaking culture. My Spanish learning didn't begin until high school, so I am living proof it is doable to acquire another language even when starting as a Sophomore or Junior. 

 

For this class, our resources are housed in Schoology, which all students have single-sign on access to through Clever. Students have access to various materials and online practice as well as daily lesson materials. You will also find a copy of the Class Syllabus.
