Welcome to Spanish class with Mrs. Torres!

 

As a Smyrna native, I am happy to be at the Creek in my hometown. I earned my undergraduate degree in Spanish at UT Knoxville (Go Vols!). and had the opportunity to study abroad in Puebla, Mexico during that time. I later decided I wanted to teach, and went back to school to earn a Masters in Teaching Foreign Language at MTSU. I still love to travel, and love sharing my joy of language learning and Spanish-speaking culture with young people. My Spanish learning didn't begin until high school, so I am living proof it is doable to acquire another language even when starting a little later! 

 

For this class, our resources are housed in Clever, which all students have single-sign on access to through their school accounts. Students have access to various materials and online practice (Boom Cards, Quizlet, Duolingo, etc) as well as essential class materials, practice, and notes. You will also find a copy of the Class Syllabus.
