The Stewarts Creek Fine Arts Academy welcomes Caitlin Montague to the Visual Arts faculty. Prior to Stewarts Creek, she taught K-8 art in Bedford county. Born in Florida, Miss Montague received her undergraduate degree in 2020 for Visual Arts from Florida State University with focus areas in drawing, sculpture, and printmaking. Currently she is working on receiving her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Middle Tennessee State University.
As a multimedia artist, her work focuses on conservation and social justice efforts and has been featured in many galleries, publications, and private collections. While not in the studio, Miss Montague likes to hike, create music, kayak, and rock climb. She lives in Murfreesboro with her two cats, Comet and Juniper.
