Good evening SCHS Band Members and Families,
Here is your Monday Night Rundown for the week of February 15: (Week 7 of Q3)
Winter Weather is Here . . .
The winter weather is here. We hope that all band members and their families remain safe. Based on current weather information, it may be some time before we are back to school. We want to make sure that band members are prepared for their video taping which is scheduled for next Monday, February 22.
Video Taping - Still Scheduled for Next Monday, Feb. 22
A gig sheet for this event will be sent out at the end of this week. While this year has taught us to be flexible, we do not anticipate a cancellation of this event. Each of the three concert ensembles will have a specific report time. Dress will be the SCHS Band polo shirt and black pants of any kind (without holes), black socks, and dark shoes. If for some reason we do have to utilize our back-up date of Monday, March 1, we will let everyone know. Please be on the lookout for the gig sheet later this week.
Assignments for SCHS Band –SCHS Band – Q3 Week 7 (Feb. 15 - Feb. 19)
In preparation for our concert video taping, assignments this week will focus on submitting full recordings in SmartMusic (and FlipGrid for Freshmen Concert Band). Please click the link below to access assignments for this week.
Quarter 3 Rehearsal and Performance Calendar
So far we have not had to use any of our back-up dates for the dress rehearsals. Please double check the calendar for our upcoming recording date and the back-up date. The calendar link is below for your convenience.
