SCHS Band - Monday Night Rundown (04-26-2021)
Good evening SCHS Band Members and Families,
Here is your Monday Night Rundown for the week of April 26:
SCHS Band Spring Concert Gig Sheet - Tue., April 27, 6:00 PM
Call Time: All SCHS Band Members: 3:45 PM (please be dressed and ready to go)
Call Time Location: Main Gym
Dress Requirements: Band members will need to wear their black polo shirts, black pants (without holes), black socks, and black/dark shoes. A few points:
- Pants do not need to be dress pants. Any kind of black pants without holes will suffice.
- Shoes do not need to be dress shoes. They should be black or as dark colored as possible and should be closed-toe.
Grooming Requirements: Band members should be professionally groomed for this video taping and recording. We ask that everyone look professional. A few points:
- For band members who wear make-up: please keep it natural and not "theatrical". Please make sure that fingernail polish is either removed or is clear/natural looking.
- Jewelry may be worn as long as it is conservative and professional looking.
- For band members with facial hair: you do not need to be clean shaven but please look neat and trimmed.
SCHS Band Spring Concert RSVP - Tue., April 27, 6:00 PM
The SCHS Band Spring Concert is set for Tuesday, April 27, at 6:00 PM in the SCHS Main Gym. Seating for audience members will be limited to 1/3 of gym capacity.Masks will be required per RCS policy. Parents planning to attend this concert will need to fill out the RSVP form by clicking the link below:
SCHS Jazz Band - In Class Rehearsals - Thur., Apr. 29 & Fri., Apr. 30 - 1PM - 3PM
In preparation for our Jazz Cabaret, all SCHS Jazz Band members have two in-class rehearsals (these days are SCHS flex days), Thur., Apr. 29 & Fri., Apr. 30 - 1PM - 3PM.

SCHS Jazz Band - Cabaret Performance, May 1, 2021 - 7:00 PM
The SCHS Jazz Band is collaborating with SCHS Red Hawk Theater students in a spring cabaret performance that will take place on Saturday, May 1 in the SCHS Courtyard. This unique setting, which will take place outside, will combine the sounds of the SCHS Jazz Band, and the unique talents of the SCHS Theater students performing songs and monologues from some well-known favorites. Bring your lawn chair and blankets and enjoy a picnic with music under the stars. Masks will be required per RCS policy. Tickets for this event are $5.00 and can be purchased by clicking the link below:
