SCHS Band Congratulates the SCHS Class of 2023
There is no moment that makes a band director more proud than to see band members walk across the stage and to graduate from high school. We offer our deepest heartfelt wishes to the band seniors of the SCHS Class of 2023. It is our hope that you will take with you all of the skills, life lessons, and fond memories of your time as members of the SCHS Band. Please know that you will be missed. Please keep in contact and don't be a stranger. Drop us a line and let us know how you're doing on all that awaits you on your next adventure.
RCS Band and Choir Model Leadership Workshop - June 26 and 27
We are excited to announce that RCS is offering a free workshop designed for all band and choir students this summer, free of charge. The Model Leadership workshop is free for all RCS students and we want to make sure the Stewarts Creek High School Band is well represented. This workshop is designed for all band and choir students, not just section leaders or drum majors. The workshop takes place at Rockvale High School.
We HIGHLY recommend and HIGHLY encourage every band member to attend. Please click the link below to register. This two-day workshop is free of charge. We want RCS to start offering more free workshops for our students. The only way this happens is if we show up. Please sign-up today!
SCHS Band Class Fees - May Update: $1,700 Left Outstanding
Attention Band Parents - We have just $1,700 left outstanding in class fees. We have this down to eleven families who have a remaining balance. We have two families who have agreed to be anonymous supporters. We are looking for a few more.
We cannot end the school year with a negative balance. One of the great things about the Stewarts Creek High School Band has been the One Team Model. It's what governs everything about our school culture. This means that we all support one another in good times and especially in times of struggle.
If you are able to give and to offer assistance to these families in need, it would be greatly appreciated. We keep everything anonymous.
We know that this is a heavy ask and we appreciate your consideration as we continue to create opportunities for these deserving band members to have a high-quality music education and to help shape the future of America's up and coming leaders through participation in the SCHS Band Program.
