We want to take a moment to express our sincere thank you to the entire band family, and to the SCHS Faculty, Staff, and Administration for all the love and support that went into making the 2022-2023 band season and school year a success. It truly takes a village to give all of these band members the very best experience possible. We wish everyone a restful and safe summer break.

 

On a more personal note . . . It is hard to imagine this but this week marks the end of not only this school year . . . but also 10 years of the SCHS Band. As one of the most visible, youth-centered organizations on our campus, there are no words to describe looking back at a decade of service to our school and Smyrna community.

 

While next year will be a year to reflect on the foundations that built the band program at Stewarts Creek High School, it will also be an opportunity to shape the next decade for the band program and for the students and families that will become part of an even bigger band family of present members and past alumni band families.

 

We look forward to next year and the decade to come.

We are excited to announce that RCS is offering a free workshop designed for all band and choir students this summer, free of charge. The Model Leadership workshop is free for all RCS students and we want to make sure the Stewarts Creek High School Band is well represented. This workshop is designed for all band and choir students, not just section leaders or drum majors. The workshop takes place at Rockvale High School.
