SCHS Band: Your Monday Night Rundown (MNR) - Week of 02/19/2024
Good Evening SCHS Band Members and Families,
Here is your Monday Night Rundown (MNR) for the week of February 19, 2024:
Though our activity calendar is quiet this week, we wanted to turn to next week for a few reminders.
We would like to invite everyone (friends, family, and alumni) to our performance assessment concert on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 7:00 PM. The SCMS Band will perform first at 6:00 PM. The high school will follow at 7:00 PM.
We are also excited that the University of Tennessee at Knoxville will join us for an in-class concert performance starting at 2:00 PM on February 28, 2024.
Don't forget our trip meeting for all participants plus at least one parent representative, which takes place in the band room at 6:30 PM on Thursday, February 29.
Also . . . We need as many friends, family, and alumni of the SCHS Band program to join us in person for two important performances:
- MTSBOA Performance Assessment Performances - Hinton Hall at MTSU
- Wind Ensemble - Tuesday, March 5, 2024 - 6:10 PM
- Concert/Symphonic Band - Thursday, March 7, 2024 - 2:20 PM
- Admission is free
Help us keep the tradition alive. Everyone knows when Stewarts Creek shows up to play. That's because of the huge parent, family, and alumni entourage that travels and supports the hard work and dedication of the members of the Stewarts Creek High School Band.

- Playing Assessment No. 3 - Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble - due Friday, February 23, 2024 through Schoology. Directions and excerpts will be discussed in class and posted to Schoology.
