Welcome!

Check your grades regularly through Skyward using your assigned username and password. If you need assistance with your login information, visit or call our attendance office (ext. 31507). 

 

Use Clever to access assignments in Teams. If this is your first time accessing Clever from home, you will need to put your entire email address in ([email protected]) and your password that you always use to log into a computer at school.

To access Teams, either click on the Teams app in Clever or go through your school email by clicking on the "waffle" icon on the top left. 

 

Office Hours: Request a Zoom meeting with me via email at [email protected]. Available times are M-F, 3:30-4:00 or upon arrangement. 

 

**Please be aware that during class times, I will be focused on teaching students in class (on campus), but I will respond as soon as possible to your emails.**

8:30 - 9:00- Hello Distance Learning Students!  Please access the Distance Learning Orientation video linked on our school webpage banner.  This video will review our Distance Learning School and Student Commitment, as well as, provide you a brief introduction of the platforms and resources available to get you started. (Remember to check TEAMS daily for everything related to our English class.)

- Submit Peer Feedback on Description Essay Rough Draft in Teams (under your “Description Essay Group” channel)

- Take Frankenstein Test on Mastery Connect and post response to two discussion questions (On Teams under “Frankenstein Discussion (Socratic)” channel. See video on Teams for help.) – DUE Sunday, 27th by midnight.

RCS Optional Resource: Week Beginning Mon. 11 May

Consider “Song of Myself” and “The Love Song of Alfred J. Prufrock” to contrast the idea of identity and self in times of conflict. Think about the how each poem conveys major ideas and themes. How do the themes compare? What are the major contrasts within each theme? Explore your compare/contrast of these two poems in an informative essay.
